ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) optical cable is a fiber optic communication cable specially designed for installation on power lines. The cable uses an all-dielectric structure with no metal components, and can be directly installed between towers of high-voltage power lines without the need for additional ground wires or supporting messenger strands. It is suitable for optical communication access on 110kV to 500kV high-voltage transmission lines, enabling simultaneous construction of power communication and transmission lines, with significant advantages such as convenient installation, immunity to electromagnetic interference, and low operation and maintenance costs.
• All-dielectric structure with no metal components, fully insulated, safely installable on energized high-voltage line towers, unaffected by electromagnetic induction.
• Self-supporting design, the cable itself has sufficient mechanical strength to bear its own weight and external loads such as wind and ice loads, requiring no additional messenger strand support.
• Special aramid yarn as the strengthening element, excellent tensile performance, adapting to long-span aerial installation scenarios.
• Weather-resistant PE outer jacket, outstanding UV resistance, temperature change resistance, and moisture resistance, service life of over 25 years.
